The Gardener’s Apprentice range of quality garden tools are designed to perform and function as fully featured, scale replicas of our full sized traditional stainless steel tools. The spades and forks are light and stand 80cm high. The rakes and hoes are 90cm long and the hand forks and trowels are perfect for small hands.
These tools have a real cute “WOW” factor that will undoubtedly attract and inspire parents, grandparents and children alike! We were determined to ensure that they were safe and are pleased to report that the range has been fully inspected and classified by North Lincolnshire Trading Standards as approved for Early Learning.
The Gardener’s Apprentice tools are not intended as toys and so we recommend that they be used under the watchful supervision of an experienced and responsible adult gardener. After all, what better way to encourage the younger gardener than to work alongside them, passing on the tricks of the trade and the benefit of a lifetime of horticultural experience?
We have been surprised and highly delighted to learn just how many “senior” gardeners and those with physical impairments also enjoyed using the tools. The lightness and compact size of the tools makes them ideal. The hand tools are also proving popular for use with houseplants.
It is our passionately held belief that gardening instils an appreciation of nature’s magic, a love of creation and a respect for both nature and the environment. We believe that an enthusiastic young gardener is a real investment that will benefit our world for many generations to come!
